REALISTIC HUMILITY
How is humility the ultimate realism?

VS. DIS-GRACE & DESTRUCTION
In our arrogance how have we sought to lay claim to God’s place?

OR A REDEMPTIVE TURN
Given how we respond when we’re disgraced, how is Jesus’ love a miracle?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD for His majesty and glory. Praise Him, Father, Son and Holy Spirit for His supremacy and yet His grace and mercy given the miracle of His Incarnation in Christ.

2. How have you lived (even if subtly) trying to replace God as Ruler of the universe? And how can you see the effects of being wrong?  Confess your pride and unbelief to Jesus, asking Him to forgive you and heal you.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for His wisdom and power in humbling Himself to save us. Thank Him for His ability — by His death and resurrection — to leverage all the things we dread to give us all the things we dream of.

4. Who do you know (other than yourself) that struggles with humility? Pray for them, asking the Lord to help them to see the futility of pride and to see the glory of humbling ourselves.

5. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to humble yourself. Pray that He would help you see God’s holiness, to see how wrong you’ve been, and to see the miracle of Jesus’ grace to save us when we humble ourselves before Him.
