Intro: We want to reinforce our Values as a Church (our family values).

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
What does it really mean if we’re defined by the Gospel?

THE SLAVERY OF LIFE APART FROM JESUS
What do we become if we lose sight of the Gospel?

WE TRUST GOD’S POWER
How can we be saved?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US ...

1. Praise and adore the LORD for His grace and mercy. Praise Him, Father, Son and Holy Spirit that when He has not needed us, He has not nevertheless left us in our sin – He’s given us GREAT news!

2. How have you sought to define your life on your own, either by successes or failures? Ask Jesus to forgive you, and to redefine you by His achievement, as His possession, as belonging to Him.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for coming, the eternal God in human form: descendent of David, yet crucified as the lowest slave, and then resurrected in glory as Lord of all! Thank Him for bearing your sin and giving His righteousness to you by faith.

4. Who do you know that is hard-hearted, or in love with this world’s power? Ask the Lord to soften them to see how even they could be welcomed in Jesus’ Kingdom – and loved with Christ’s love.

5. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you trust God’s power in the gospel. Ask the Father to work in your heart to persuade you 1) of how much it takes to redeem you, and 2) of His gracious ability to do that for others also.

Looking Back

The Facilitator is a study tool designed to help you engage with the weekly sermon through the five elements we incorporate in our Community Groups; Get Acquainted & Sharing, Sermon Study, Mission, Worship and Prayer. This tool will be made available Monday morning to give us the opportunity to look back at what we heard on Sunday.
