YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD for His holiness and mercy. Praise Him, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for how He has opened up a way for sinners like us to be redeemed and reconciled to Him in Christ.

2. How have you lived as if the things of this world matter to you more than the LORD and what is most cherished by Him? Confess your pride and foolishness to Jesus, asking Him to forgive you and to heal you.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for how He has worked to atone for our guilt and to transform our hearts. Thank Him that He came to be the Passover, the Priest, the Lamb, and the Temple all in one, in order to save our lives.

4. Who do you know that vastly overestimates their goodness? Pray for them, asking the Lord to open their eyes to their spiritual peril as well as all that Jesus has done to rescue us from the danger of our own sinfulness.

5. Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of love and goodness. Pray that He would help you live as Colossians 1 says, “stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel.”
