YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the Lord, for His ways are not our ways. Even when we impress upon Him our agendas, it does not deter Him from His ultimate goal of saving and restoring us from the real problems that we have.

2. In what ways do you try to purify yourself in your day-to-day life? Do you seek validation from those around you? Is your striving a means to justify your existence? Confess the ways that so easily fall into works righteousness to rescue yourself from shame.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for His grace towards us. He longs to gladden our hearts and bring the union that we so long for, and He does it all by the work of His hands because of the will of His Father.

4. Who do you know that has made demands upon God, and instead of reacting like Mary in a pronouncement of faith, they have grown embittered towards the Lord? Pray that their hearts would be warmed to see His kindness and that they’d be convicted and repent of their arrogance.

5. Pray for the Spirit’s real, satisfying presence in your life. Ask Him to help you use your imagination in the wonder of God wanting us to be glad, which can only come through Him! He has freely given to us in an abundance, if only we have eyes of faith.
