GOD’S PLANS AND PROMISES

IGNORING AND IMPATIENTLY WAITING

HASTENING HIS RETURN

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Praise the Lord for His sovereign plans and His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. Praise Him for the power of His Word!
2. Consider the ways in which we ignore the Word of God and set our minds on earthly things. Confess and repent of your impatience with His ways and His timing.
3. Give thanks to God for His patience toward us. Thank Jesus for His words to us and His work for us. Thank the Spirit for His commitment to our holiness.
4. Who do you know who is struggling with God’s timing? And who do you know that needs to know of God’s kindness? How can you move toward them with compassion and hope? Pray for them, asking that God’s kindness would lead them to repentance.
5. Ask the Spirit to help us live with eternity in mind. Pray for His help to wait patiently and live faithfully until Christ returns.
