INTRO: When have contrasts helped you to make a wise choice?

A CRITICAL CONDITION
What are the markers of unbelief?

THERE IS A REDEEMER
What if God, in His goodness and grace, chose you even when you had rejected Him?

AND A NEW LIFE
What does belief look like, and what is its outcome?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD for His graciousness as our Redeemer. Praise Him, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that He can take what is broken or hopeless and bring it back into life and blessedness.

2. How have you lived as if you were the most important reference point for the building campaign of your life? Confess your prideful self-interest to Jesus, asking Him to forgive you and restore you back into His good design.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for His saving work, especially His willingness to be rejected so that we could be redeemed. Versus idols and created things, thank Him for His ability to take what is wrecked and shameful and bring it back to blessedness.

4. Who do you know who is spiritually dried up, lifeless, and falling away to dust? Pray for them, asking the Lord to help them to see their need for Jesus and His gracious ability to bring them back to life and joy.

5. Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of love, joy and goodness. Pray that He would so solidify your trust in Jesus that, sourced by His saving work, you could move confidently out toward others with His love.
