INTRO: Why do we believe two relationships are critical to everyone?

IT’S A LOVE PROBLEM
Who were the Sadducees and Pharisees, and why did they hate Jesus?

TOTALITARIAN LOVE
What does God call us to cherish more than anyone or anything?

OVERFLOWING LOVE
Why does Jesus’ command have credibility?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD, the Great I Am, for His loveliness. Praise and adore Him that, as the Author of all creation’s beauty that He is inherently more beautiful, that He is desirable above all created things.
2. How have you been indifferent and loveless toward God and others? Confess your deadness to Jesus, the Risen One, asking Him to forgive you and rescue you from your hard heart.
3. Give thanks to Jesus for the miracle of His saving love! Thank Him for coming, for giving, for sustaining, and enduring with us both now and forever.
4. Who do you know that shows no love for God or others (e.g., their co-workers, family, or neighbors)? Pray for them, asking the Father to show His loveliness to them and that He would renew their hearts in Christ.
5. Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of love. Pray that He would work against your lovelessness and grow you to be useful to Him in spreading His love and mercy in our city and world.
