Memory Verse for the Week: Luke 1:19-20 (ESV)

And the angel answered him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.”

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD for his generosity to enter into humanity at the right time to make known his salvation! Praise Him for His plan of redemption.
2. Worship the LORD and confess your sin with how you live in unbelief. Where are you like Zechariah and not enjoying and holding to the promises of God?
3. Thank Jesus for his work of entering into humanity to complete the mission of the Father by being the final sacrifice.
4. Intercede for someone else who is blind and deaf to the gospel. Who in your life can’t see their need for Jesus? Pray that they would be given faith.
5. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare your heart well to enjoy and savor this Advent season and to be blown away by the reality that God put on flesh to rescue lost sinners.
