Intro: In your heart, what do you think it means to be blessed?

How has God designed us to be reliant on Him and sufficiently sourced?

How are we broken in terms of reliance upon and honor for our Maker?

JESUS IS OUR REDEEMER
What does it mean to be met at our worst with God’s best?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Praise the LORD, our God and Savior, that He is utterly trustworthy, especially in His covenant of grace. Praise Him, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that He is gracious to bless us in Christ when He could justly condemn us.

2. How have you lived as if God is unjust to curse us in our sin? Confess your pride and unbelief to Jesus, asking Him to forgive you and change your heart to rely upon Him as you do no one or no thing else.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for his amazing love to bear the curse of our sin and offer us His righteousness by faith. Thank Him that He is willing to cleanse us by His death and transform us by the gift of His Holy Spirit.

4. Who do you know that is trying to secure meaning and salvation apart from God? Pray for them, asking the Lord to help them see their need for His redeeming grace, and that they would turn eagerly to Jesus.

5. Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of love, goodness and faithfulness. Pray for His work to so secure you in Christ that you sense more and more just how blessed you are in Him, both now and forever.
