THE SCOPE OF FREEDOM

EVIL’S ESPIONAGE

REMEMBER THE POOR

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US …

1. Worship the LORD for the purity of His Gospel. Praise Him, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that His good news to us is centered around Christ alone.

2. How have you lived demandingly against others? Where have you sneakily attempted to impute your will into circumstances? Confess your arrogance and insecurities to the Lord and recognize how wondrous it is that even though He sees and knows all, He still loves us.

3. Give thanks to Jesus that we receive freedom by the grace of His work. Thank him that he has not called us into a spirit of slavery, but into one where we are free.

4. Who do you know that binds other people with enslaving words and a spirit of legalism? Pray for them that they would come to know their arrogance and that those who are being pressed down would fight for the truth which is their freedom.

5. Ask the Spirit to bear in you both the courage to hold fast to your freedom in the Gospel and the charity to submit like a reed shaken in the wind. Pray that he would give us that amazing balance of love that our Lord Jesus so marvelously portrayed.

The Facilitator is a study tool designed to help you engage with the weekly sermon through the five elements we incorporate in our Community Groups; Get Acquainted & Sharing, Sermon Study, Mission, Worship and Prayer. This tool will be made available Monday morning to give us the opportunity to look back at what we heard on Sunday.
