Memory Verse for the Week: Ephesians 2:4-6 (ESV)
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Intro: When have you seen an extreme reversal?
HOW WE START
By Paul’s description, what were we before God’s work?
BUT GOD ...
To what lengths has God gone to forgive and heal us in Christ?
HOW WE FINISH
What are we now are in Christ? We’re utterly transformed.
YOU CAN PRAY WITH US ...
-
Worship the LORD as our Maker and Giver of Life. Praise Him, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for His power and will to raise us to newness of life by His Grace.
-
How have you lived as if either you’re not that bad, or that you’re so bad that there’s no hope for you? Confess your pride and unbelief to Jesus, asking Him to forgive you and meet your deepest needs by His Grace.
-
Give thanks to Jesus for the miracle of His work to take you from the lowest place in condemnation to the highest place of approval. Thank Him for satisfying justice vs. your guilt and healing you vs. your deadness.
-
Who do you know that seems spiritually dead, like you have been? Pray for them, asking the Lord to make them alive in Christ as He has you – by His power and love.
-
Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of love and goodness. Pray for His help so that you would live realistically – both humble because of God’s work and secure because of the completeness of what He has done in Christ.
Looking Back
The Facilitator is a study tool designed to help you engage with the weekly sermon through the five elements we incorporate in our Community Groups; Get Acquainted & Sharing, Sermon Study, Mission, Worship and Prayer. This tool will be made available Monday morning to give us the opportunity to look back at what we heard on Sunday.
