Intro: What do you wish for others?  Or think they need?  Paul prayed …

OUR PLEA FOR GOD’S WORK
Why was Paul confident about God’s work in His people?

VS. NEED IN OUR LIVES
What does the work of God reveal about us?

GIVEN IN LOVE
Who is working on our behalf?

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US ...

  1. Worship the LORD for His generous love and immeasurable power toward us who believe. Praise Him, Father, Son and Holy Spirit that He is so willing to share with us His riches.
  2. How have you lived in unbelief, either ignoring or denying what He has revealed about Himself and you? Confess your denial of His revelation to you, asking Jesus to forgive you and open your eyes to His work for you.
  3. Give thanks to Jesus for His work to redeem us from the guilt and wreckage of our sin.  Thank Him for all He has done by His power and Grace that we could never do.
  4. Who do you know that needs hope? Ask the Lord to help them and make known to them His riches and power freely shared with us in Christ.
  5. Ask the Holy Spirit to bear in you His fruit of His goodness and faithfulness. Pray for a growing confidence in Christ so that you live faithfully with hope and purpose because of His power at work in you.
