Memory Verse for the Week: Luke 2:29-32 (ESV)

THE COMFORT OF CHRISTMAS

THE CONTRAST OF CHRISTMAS

THE CONFRONTATION OF CHRISTMAS

YOU CAN PRAY WITH US ...

1. Worship the LORD for His transcendence (greatness/sovereignty) and His immanence (nearness/intimacy). Praise Him for graciously moving towards us in the greatest way even when we rebelled against Him.

2. Where are you grabbing onto things other than Jesus and saying, “This is my salvation; now I can die in peace!”? Confess your idolatry and ask God to draw your heart back to Him.

3. Give thanks to Jesus for His willingness to come all the way down to us, taking on human flesh, and even death, for us (Philippians 2:5-11).

4. Ask the Holy Spirit to produce a spirit of humility in you. Ask that you would be in the right posture, the low place of need, to receive His gifts with great joy.

Looking Back

The Facilitator is a study tool designed to help you engage with the weekly sermon through the five elements we incorporate in our Community Groups; Get Acquainted & Sharing, Sermon Study, Mission, Worship and Prayer. This tool will be made available Monday morning to give us the opportunity to look back at what we heard on Sunday.
