Saturday, January 26, 3:30-9p at Trinity. This seminar is a free, church-wide event, with dinner provided, for all who wish to attend. Presented by Yashne Trober, Ph.D., Chair of Religious studies at UM, The True Apologetics Seminar will present a mix of current and prevalent world-views that oppose faith and the gospel. Tim Rice, Timo Strawbridge, and Shayne Bass will facilitate discussions of what a faith/grace-filled and reasoned position holds in light of scripture, in the face of opposing beliefs and arguments . Our hope is that all who attend will be challenged and encouraged to think critically, faithfully, and graciously about what we hear in the world and the Word. Click here to register.

NOTE* HIGH SCHOOL students earn scholarship funds towards the Sprinter Retreat for attending this Seminar. Additional scholarship funds are awarded if their parents attend the seminar with them. These seminars have previously been humbling and provoking for all students, adults, and even seasoned leaders that have attended. These discussions are what most attendees have said “aren’t for the faint of heart”, because we dive deeply into the views of the world before discussing the Biblical basis of our hope and defense. This is why we are urging all parents to attend with their students to help provide the parental guidance that may be needed as a follow up to these discussions.
