As Senior Pastor Tim is responsible for developing and maintaining Trinity’s spiritual oversight and leadership. This is rooted his own relationship with Jesus, and that includes prayer, study and preaching weekly, training leaders, overseeing staff, counseling, and reaching out to those seeking to know more about Jesus and the church. He is married to Julie and has 4 children.

Tim was licensed and ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 1993. He has 27 years of ministry experience including college ministry at F.S.U., starting the youth ministry at First Presbyterian, Lakeland, in 1986, being called as an Associate Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian, Lakeland, and launching a campus ministry (Reformed University Fellowship) at Florida Southern College in 1993. He was commissioned for new church development by Covenant’s board of elders to charter Trinity Presbyterian in 1997. Since then, he has helped to apprentice two additional church planting apprentices, and our ministry team has helped to start three additional churches in the greater Lakeland area. He also helps with our denomination’s Church Planter Assessment Center where church planting candidates are examined for their fitness and readiness.
