Sunday

We meet on Sunday at 8:45 for Education Hour and 10:15 for Corporate Worship.

Education Hour:

For more information about our Adult Education Hour classes, click here.

Classes for infants-5th graders are available each Sunday morning during Adult Education.

Younger Preschoolers are learning how God made us and all things, and that he wants us to love and obey him (Catechism questions 1-12)

Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten* and First* Grade are using a curriculum called Kids’ Quest Catechism Club, a 36-lesson study of the First Catechism. Kids’ Quest uses biblical accounts of God’s work in the world to illustrate his character and explain abstract theological truths in a concrete way. Music, games, art, written activities and lots of repetition reinforce the teaching and help the children memorize the answers to the Catechism questions.

The Second* and Third* Grade class are studying "Worshiping God": the joys and duties of worship.

The Fourth* and Fifth* Grade class are studying Genesis: Creation, the Fall, the flood, the Abrahamic covenant, the patriarchs, and Joseph.

*Sonshine Kids: Elementary children begin Education Hour in the Sonshine Kids' room learning how to worship through music, praying, and Bible reading. The Sonshine Kids meet from 8:45 am to 9:10 am. At 9:10 am, children go to their grade level education classes. Each fourth Sunday of the month is "All Sonshine Kids Sunday". The children spend the entire class time in the Sonshine Kids room. {Sonshine Kids is off for the Summer and will start back up in the Fall. Watch for more information at the end of the Summer.}

Corporate Worship:

Trinity's worship service reflects our heart to remain faithful to God's Word and to our tradition and, at the same time, to speak the language of the people of our city. We hear and participate in the Word of God as it is read, proclaimed, prayed and sung. We pray to God in light of his holy character and work, in the face of our sin, and in the beauty of his redemption. We pray with a heart and mind to see God work in specific ways in our city, nation and world. The songs we sing reflect the vast body of music that has been handed down to us from generation to generation. They include hymns from the 5th century and modern songs from ministries, churches and recording artists. Above all, we desire to commune with the Maker of the Universe by his Holy Spirit and in the name of his Son, Jesus.

The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is offered once a month, usually on the first Sunday. Morning prayer for our people, community, and service begins at 6:30am in the sanctuary. All are welcome.
